Surprise Visit by DC Gyalshing Highlights Administrative Efficiency and Cleanliness
Gyalshing, January 22 (IPR):In line with the recent directives of the Chief Minister, Mr Prem Singh Tamang(Golay), emphasizing cleanliness and hygiene in government offices, the District Collector(DC), Gyalshing, Mr Tenzing D. Denzongpa, conducted a surprise inspection of various departments functioning under the District Administrative Centre (DAC).
During the inspection, DC reviewed the operations of the departments, assessed their performance, cleanliness and interacted with officials to ensure effective service delivery to the public.
As part of the visit, DC also assessed the cleanliness and sanitation standards within the premises. Demonstrating a hands-on approach, he personally cleaned toilets that were found to be in an unhygienic condition, underscoring the significance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in government offices.
The offices inspected included the Office of Assistant Engineer (AE) Roads & Bridges, Gyalshing Nagar Panchayat, UDD, Community hall and Library, RTO, SNT, Power, Commercial Taxes Division, BAC, Gyalshing and District Hospital Gyalshing.
